Default Okay...What?!

Okay, so I was reading this book I just bought at the store because it had an interesting front cover. Got aaaall the way to page 110. 110, PEOPLE!!!! You'll never believe this...but I got to page 110, AND THE BOOK SKIPPED 33 PAGES!!! And it wasn't like it was a mistake in numbering or anything! It doesn't look like they were ripped out, either because there weren't any bits still stuck in the book; the pages are actually NOT THERE, NOR WERE THEY EVER THERE!!!! Hmph, I want my money back...

Bloo: Nope, he lost his magic; now he dresses like a lady, and the butterfly has legs and an afro.

I understand your frustration. It probably happened when the book was published. I would definitely return the book from your place of purchase. They'll replace it for you.

We own a copy of The Hobbit that's like that. It was in a boxed set with the LotR books, so even if we replaced it they wouldn't match anymore. So...we never replaced it. Somewhere around here is a copy of The Hobbit missing like 30 pages.

I've got a book that has a part where, like, four paragraphs are repeated within a paragraph on the very next page. Crappy editing, I'd assume.

is it just the numbering? you could sell it as a "unique" book!

If anyone was dumb enough to buy it, that is...
