The Fresh Vegetable Mystery (1939)
This classic Fleischer cartoon may've inspired Craig McCracken to create Nina Valerosa's character, to be the police officer/creator of a potato-loving minotaur. :-\ It's called "The Fresh Vegetable Mystery". Merry Christmas.

I first saw this cartoon back in 1960. I was four years old and lived in Riverside CA, so I saw it on KTLA/ch. 5 out of Los Angeles. It was among the most surreal Fleischer cartoons I ever recalled seeing back then. It's on a lot of cartoon buffs' top ten lists.
