Hahah. Maybe I should have avoided stating ANY form of fascination with this character and saved myself the trouble and confusion of further explaining how I feel exactly.
I also hate that I can be so observant and picky. Ive been dling the episodes off of this site since Im new to the show (kind of) and need to catch up and I keep seeing the inconsistencies of Wilts "wonky"-as he calls it-eye. Some episodes he can blink it, others he cant. Argh! It bothers me! Or maybe Im trying to change the subject but keep it Wilt oriented...? Hehe.

I know this will be off-topic, I really do. But I need to say something.

That is just plain repulsive and wretched. I've always been leery of IMDb and the intelligence of it's community, but that is officially rock bottom for me. "All she does is yell"? "Especially Bloo"? Yes, because Bloo is such a poor, helpless, innocent charity case while Frankie is an evil monster that eats children Does the topic creator actually pay attention to the show? Frankie is the caretaker and legal guardian. She does a little bit of EVERYTHING around the house, so that the friends don't have to, not even the ones who are so careless or rotten that they should be punished with trying to do it own their own(you know which ones). She only yells and gets mad because of the stressful and demanding nature of her job. She's not mad or cranky 100%. Saying that is just sick and wrong. I'm sorry that Frankie is only human and not a perfect Mary Sue angel. But the fact that she isn't a completely perfect angel is part of what makes her such a wonderful character to me. "Stop them from having a good time"? Yeah, because Frankie has lots of free time for enjoyment while the friends have to do all the work... she sure succeeded in stopping the friends from going to the concert that SHE missed thanks to that repugnant disgrace of a character/episode idea. Wrong again, SHE'S the one who's always denied having a good time. She's an authority figure and strict at times, but she is NOT "The Man" at all. In fact, she's a far bigger victim of "The Man" than all of the show's other characters combined. I am not "attacking" whoever made that thread solely because he/she "doesn't worship Frankie"; I'm defending Frankie from the extreme ignorance and unfairness of that argument, just like PBL says she'll defend Wilt everytime they bash him for being "too nice". It's one thing to not like her type of personality/character, but I will not be quiet about seeing someone I love dearly be so blatantly disrespected. |

But anyway, back on topic...I don't have a problem with anyone, male or female, being just a fan of Wilt, or with others being "fangirls". The fact that so many other females DO find him attractive, for whatever their reasons, sort of exhonerates ME finding him attractive, and makes me feel a bit less "odd" or guilty if you will, of feeling that way about a non-human character. If I had to explain what it is about Wilt's LOOKS, though, that attract me, I couldn't begin, since his looks are certainly very different from any human ideals of attractiveness, so I guess that his personality and depth of character are what does it, more than anything else. Like Frankie, Wilt is not perfect; he's got his personality flaws and still has some strong issues, but THAT is exactly what makes him so appealing, because it makes him more like US. That's why I continue to love the guy even though he's shown a bit of a temper himself now and then, and he tends to crack under pressure, and has difficulty communicating his real feelings about certain things. If he were perfect, he would not seem "real" to me. pitbulllady |

Agreed. Nobody is perfect, we have flaws and advantages but thats what makes us different and thats what makes us US. I beleive that Wilt is a very original character, because, I beleive that most cartoon creators make characters that really beleive in themselves and are confident and not to much of a push over. Wilt, on the other hand, was the first cartoon character I had EVER seen who broke his back so someone could sharpen a pencil (so to speak not literally). i beelive that cartoon creators make confident characters (but not overly confident) to influence the children to do the same. I am nagged day in and day out because I don't beleive in my self, when I actually have an abnormally large amount of talent in the creative side of life (Music, Art, Writing etc...) Not to brag XD. Although Wilt doesn't put him self down, it seems that he has not come entirely out of his show, for he is also very quiet, either because of his emotional termoil (sp?) or because of the script Phil Lamarr had shoved in his hands, and that is what makes him so orginal compared to the rest of the cartoon universe.

What PBL said is exactly what I meant, only I guess I didnt go about saying it so...obviously? Yea, whatever the right wording would be...
I am attracted to Wilt, but being he is not human, its almost impossible to say that he would be physically attractive being I know what attracts me about human males, but not....whatever Wilt is. So, saying that, the only reason I could say I am "attracted" to him would be that it would be everything else. And his smile, hahaha!

You CANNOT resist that smile of his. Lookit at his little face, all cute and pixelly XD... Ok If I ever do that again, slap me.
I'm also very attracted to Wilt, not just because of his personallity, but I think he has an irresistabley cute face. But I like how hes tall as well, which, in my opinion, makes him all the more handsome. I actually do beleive that Wilt is one of the most handsom Cartoon characters yet, along with Grim, from Billy and Mandy, or perhaps Jack Skellington (take note that all three of these characters are very tall, very thin, and very lanky XD) And also, I don't really mind Fangirls, sure they can get a little annoying at times, but the things they say, they don't really mean it, it's just like a game, and this is the internet, so not everything is taken seriously. I have also failed to see a Fangirl THREATEN anybody. I mean, sure they pretend to pounce on him and shout "He's mine! Muahahahaha!" but I've never seen them say something like: "*points gun at so and so's head* Touch him and Die." |
