Speaking of which, there's a rumor going around that a new song by Madonna and Justin Timberlake called 4 Minutes (to Save the World) will be featured in the movie.

Oh no, I remember what happened the last time Madonna did music for a spy movie. We got the soul crunchingly bad theme song for the movie "Die Another Day" which was IMHO one of the minor reasons why the Bond series was put on ice for four years.

On the bright side, we have a new TV spot.

I've provided a link to a page on the latest trailers because my browser is having difficult loading the TV spot:

After all the activity this thread got while the movie was in production, why hasn't anyone come back to post a review after seeing it?

GM and I saw it today. It was awesome. The story was great, the acting was awesome, and bad guys (and just plain rude people) got pwned. I hope there wasn't anything amazing after the creds because GM hated the music and wanted to leave...

I don't think there was. Does GM mean the Madonna song? Because I really LOVED the theme music, especially during the opening!

My review was already posted on the Last Movie You Watched thread: http://www.fosters-home.com/forum/sh...postcount=1562

The "Four Seconds To Save the World" or whatever it's called song. He was annoyed enough by it to want to leave the theatre.

I don't read the "Last *whatever* you saw/listened to/etc" threads, so I didn't see your review. I just expected someone to post here.

Well, in that case...

I absolutely agree with what you said about this movie, Sparky. I LOVED IT!! I loved the homages the film made to the original series, and Steve just proved how much he was born to play the role of Maxwell Smart.

And the opening... I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE OPENING!!! I just couldn't believe that they did great justice to it! When I saw it for the first time, I literally had tears of joy in my eyes! It was perfect!!

This deserves a 5/5 from me!! Brilliant stuff!

Well, I got myself a very special box set of Get Smart. It's a Shoe Phone Edition! I took some images so that you can see what it looks like!

This is the front!

This is the phone out of the box, and it's a BIG one, compared to one of my own shoes! And yes, the dial works as well!

There's the back, and when you open the flap at the bottom...

...there's the DVDs!

Yeah they have those at Best Buy. I want it.

Also the Time-Life Get Smart complete series DVD set that came out a while ago is now available in stores (well, when you can find it). They also released a "Season One" set and I heard something about them not planning on doing the other seasons, so if you want it just go for the full set. I read in a review that it's been seen at Best Buy for like $110. I personally have not yet seen it in a store, and I've been looking.
