Can I ask just one question? I'm really not trying to re-hash anything that has to do with that Monsters Inc fight in those other posts back there. But anyway here's my question,
pitbulllady, is a part of you liking Randall have anything to do with him being a reptile? It's obvious that you love reptiles and things likes that but if Randall wasin't a reptile, would you have liked him as much?

ps. I also think Randall is kinda attractive. It's weird, I dunno why but I do. It's not exactly a "crush", but more like, I think he's kinda attractive for a lizard.

I mean he KILLED people! But, I'm not bashing your tastes. I myself never found any of the countless zillions of Pokemon to be crush worthy.
Most of my animated interests are never the "friendliest". :p I personally think he's the most misunderstood character, bar none. Here in America, Mewtwo's story (and character) was morphed beyond recognition and that probably gave way for people to gain misconceptions about his motives. You have to understand where he's coming from first before making up your mind about him.

Franke is my #1 pick. But I also have a thing for Sango from Inuyasha. And I just love Hinata from Naruto, she's so cute and I love her to pieces! I don't have a crush on her, (she's only a kid after all) But I would love to have her as a daughter!

The movie is what I based my opinions on considering since that is the only media depictation of Mewtwo that allows you to see more of who he is. And regardless of dubbing or changed dialouge, Mewtwo's actions remained the same.

Mewtwo's background isn't exactly any different then most "created" type characters. Frankenstein, Johnny 5 (Short Circuit), Edward Scissorhands. They're all in the same boat and being a total movie and TV freak, I got a pretty good handle on where he is coming from.

Exactly. Mewtwo (or Pokemon as a whole, for that matter) isn't quite the same here as it is overseas. If you've never seen anything but the dubbed version of that movie and nothing else at all, I reeeeeally suggest you don't stick like glue to that opinion. How do you know his motives remained the same? I know for a fact that the horrible translation (100% intentional)changed the whole story. But, whatever. *I* certainly am not even going to try (or hope) to get you to change your mind.

I once tried to use the word "cute" on Randall. You know, as in "cute" guy? It didn't work. I think Randall is several words above "cute". :3

Well... if it's okay to include non-human characters in this (ala Randel) then I guess that I can admit that I always had a thing for Freya (Final Fantasy IX) and Krystal. (Starfox)

2 things:

1. I agree Krystal from Star Fox is a full blown furry hottie .

And 2. Regardless of any dialouge based translation, unless those humans in the lab center admitted to some sort of wicked, heartless, barbaric act or crime in their brief stint of coversation with Mewtwo, his actions will never be excused.

I also saw absolutely nothing wrong with the dubbed version of Mewtwo's movie, or any of the other Pokemon films. I have also seen at least half of the first movie through clips and brief moments in japanese dialouge.

And like I said before, I never have any beefs with dubbing and words or no words, actions speak louder then words. My main thing is revolved towards Mewtwo's killing the scientists that created him. I'm not saying he didn't become good.

But what he did was not something I can ignore.

Think that's odd? I had the hots for The Grinch once! (Jim Carey's version).

Time for me to throw in my Cartoon Crushes.

Owen Burnett from Gargoyles: He is what I look for in a man, dependable, has a good job, logical, kinda mysterious, respectful and once you learn his story it is all like,"OMGWTFBBQ! I shoulda noticed it sooner!"
Spoiler Below
Also, because he is Puck you know he has to know how to PAR-TAY!

My other crush is Izumi Curtis from FMA: She is what I look for in a woman. She is loyal and full of love, she will help those she cares about and trys to fix her mistakes. But, if you get her angry there is usually a reason why (that makes sense!) and she will knock some sense into whoever made her angry.
