Andre Rieu: The Homecoming on PBS. This guy really manages to bring a world of fun to his performances. I always love coming across his shows on PBS when I'm flipping through stations.

Yeah, I don't understand why so many people seem to think PBS is lame. I think it's cool. Not just the kids shows, but the nature and science shows, and the concerts. I've also watched Andre Rieu and enjoyed it. I also love Celtic Women and Sarah Brightman. They're awesome!
As to what I'm watching right now, it's good 'ol SNL. Bjork just sang and......what in tar nation is she wearing? It's a dress made from like a pixelized mercury, and it's reflecting every light in the studio, flashing every color of the rainbow. It's strange and odd and cool, I like it!

The Georgia Tech/Notre Dame football game yesterday. Tech won, 33-3, but the talk of the weekend is still Appalachian State upsetting Michigan, 34-32.

PBS has some good things, but it really depends on where you live,
I recieve both Buffalo and Toronto PBS and to be honest, I prefer the Toronto version, the show selection and kid shows I think are better, except for teletubies and barny since I dispise both of them. This summer PBS played several great classic BW stories. Last TV show I watched was "the Prisoner" I just finish watching the last disk, I rented the series. I thnk it was a great show, and the ending (last 2 shows) was a regular trip down the rabbit hole. which is a great way to end a suspence/action series. Monti |

Last show I saw on PBS was NOVA. It was an update on the activities of the Mars landers, but that was some time ago. PBS has some very good programming but it depends on what you're looking for; NOVA and Nature are my favorites. We get two PBS stations here and their schedules are often the same. Unfortunately, While the show may be the same on both the actual episode may be different, and TV Guide has never bothered to mention which station's listings they're carrying. I'm not sure they know or care. Makes viewing a bit of a crapshoot sometimes. |

The Office - The Convention
I finally got the chance to see this show with Steve Carell, and I was impressed. Steve was great. I really should purchase Season 1 and 2 on DVD when I get the chance.

You REALLY should it's one of the greatest and funniest shows on television (or at least I think so).

Colbert Report. It looks like he'll be on vacation for another week. Probably because he would have physiotherapy or something.

Kim Possible: All the News
Not really one of my favorite episodes but with a show this wonderful, it's hard not to get sucked into it, specially with the "Every Possible episode" marathon Disney has going for Kim Possible's sad but amazingly well done finale. I loathe the fact Disney is letting (in my eyes) the greatest modern show they have ever made slip through their fingers, but at least they are giving Kim the grand finale she rightly deserves and are giving her a proper send off.

Actually it's because he and Jon Stewart take two weeks off for Labor Day.
Last show I watched is Cops on Court TV.
