I got an 88.0 average on my report card. Yay!
But no honor roll or outstanding conduct award yet. D:

Well, school has gotten a whole lot better for me since I finally finished High School last year. (Seriously, the first 2 years of high school SUCKED for me. Junior year was okay, but Senior year was by far the best.) And now I'm going to college, which is far better than high school in just about every possible way, but the biggest reason for me is the fact that, since college students can be any age, they're much more mature and can actually hold an intelligent conversation. The thing I hated above all about high school was random people coming up to me and asking questions. I never was that social, and I hated it whenever I was sitting in class, minding my own business, when a bunch of high school kids came up to me and started asking me stupid questions like "Hey, Phil, watcha listening to?", "Hey, Phil, whatcha reading?", "Hey, Phil, watcha watching?". And most of those people I barely knew, or in some cases, didn't know at all, which annoyed me even more. Anyway, college is much better and classes are a whole lot easier, at least for me. (Of course, it's only my second semester, but still.)

Yeah, that's what I did too. I was able to take care of most of my required classes during the previous three years, so I was able to take 2 class periods off and just wing it most of my senior year. That's mainly why senior year was my best, because I actually had some time to relax and enjoy it.

So, last week I was one of the biggest contributors to class discussion, really engaging the subject.
And yet, my notes looked like this: What does this say about my class?

No, I'm in 571T Readings in 20th Century American History.
And again, here I am, heavily involved in the discussion... but apparently part of my brain cries for help.
