The irony is that being in Norbit may have killed Eddie's chances at being nominated at the Oscars last year for Dreamgirls.

Speaking of the Oscars, just a few more hours until those noms are revealed...

Bingo. A surprisingly overwhelming percentage of movies which are presently regarded as classics were actually commercial failures throughout their initial theatrical runs. That's generally the way it goes. The importance of instant success in cementing a movie's future has a tendency to be severly overplayed.

As for this particular list of nominations, what I can say, other than wow, go Eddie!
