Seriously, from what I've been reading here and elsewhere this is starting to sound like the movie of the decade, or something along those lines. Would those of you who've seen it care to give it a rating on a scale of 0-10? |

I will see when I buy the DVD. First that, then Scott Pilgrim is mine as well.

Despicable Me
I just came back from seeing this movie and I have to say, it was very charming. Steve Carell was wonderful as Gru, the minions were definitely hilarious, and the three girls really defined cuteness, especially Margo (Miranda Cosgrove). I thought she was adorable. A very sweet and funny film.

The A-Team
I love it when a plan comes together! Especially if it's done right. This did it right. With Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper, Quinton "Rampage" Jackson and Sharlto Copley playing the roles of Hannibal, Face, B.A. and Murdock, the film remains with the 'crime they didn't commit' storyline but modernized for today. But still, the action scenes were awesome (how often do you get to free-fall and shoot from a FREAKING TANK?!? ) and Sharlto was hilarious as Murdock. This is a very good film that pays homage to the original show and worth a see. Also, there's a scene after the credits. It features cameos by two of the original cast members of the TV show.

Scott Pilgrim Vs The World
Awesome movie all round, I don't what I enjoyed more about it, the countless video game references or the countless references to Ontario based chains.

Same here! Just got the DVD today. I think I said it before but I love the bits and pieces that are aimed to comic book readers and video game players. So those of us who understand and "get" it all are a special breed or something.

Exactly, it's a movie/comic written by nerds and for nerds or for those who are nerds at heart.

I got both "Toy Story 3," and "Scott Pilgrim." I really enjoyed "Toy Story;" had a tear, but the rest of the movie made me feel good. "Scott Pilgrim" I already saw in theaters and so naturally I enjoy it!
