Default Go me!

so the real point to this story is to ask you what sport do you play if you do play one? are you on a team? and if you don't play sports that's okay because I'll be honest I hated sports until I found out I can play tennis

I played football in high school but that was about it. During the summer months the staff often forced us to play softball whether we wanted or not.

I suck at sports. I'm okay at swimming and badminton, but I don't think I'm good enough to make it on a team.

Oooh I knew a girl similar to that. She was snotty (but not rich) and I guess she was more of a Violet Beauregard in the sense that she was convinced that in order to feel good about ANYTHING, she had to beat me at it.

Anyhow... I tried playing softball but I was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE at it. I was in band in high school, but most don't really consider that a "sport" even though we worked and competed just as hard as the football team we played for. (Marching in 100 degree heat with NO BREEZE and three layers of a wool uniform on top of you really takes it out of you!)

i really like soccer. where i live, every one that plays soccer is mostly all mexican. i usally team up with the brazilizn and the rest of the italian kids and win, but we are out-numbered alot. i ride bmx alot. im trying to get in to skateboarding, but i tend to bust my butt every time. i also like to blow things up alot, but i havent found a sport for that yet.

Yeah that was the only thing that was bad about being in band... I'm not really experienced at working in teams, and in band, if someone was doing poorly, you absolutely HAD to help them because otherwise they'd mess up the show for everyone. And then you'd get the little freshmen who were convinced that they were right and you, the senior, were wrong and would actually argue with you about it. That got me frustrated enough to scream

Aw, I'm a freshman!
But I'm not in a band.
I seriously think marching band requires more energy and skill than some sports. You gotta be able to play your instrument well and not get winded while marching up and down and back and forth and you gotta memorize your music to the point where you can play it while you're sleeping.
