Though I thought "fair weather friends" referred to people who were only friends when one person felt like playing with the other? (Like... Girl 1 only plays with Girl 2 when there's no one else to play with or if Girl 2 invites Girl 1 over to her house because Girl 2 has a lot of fun toys.
