Default New Deviant Art Project by ME!

OK, remember how I said that I draw like a five year old? Guess what? I'm on DeviantART!

Mostly, what I'm doing here is a Foster's-based Photoshop Elements 3 project. (It's basically just a bunch of cutting and pasting, but it's still rather interesting to do.)

PROJECT TITLE: Foster's Road Trip
PREMISE: The gang's on a corss country road trip! These are some of their adventures...

Here's the link for part one: Alabama: Foster's Road Trip, part 1: Alabama

Hope you enjoy!

Aww... thanks Lynnie! I'll keep you guys posted on my progress. I know what I'm doing for Alaska (my state!), but I'm stuck on Arkansas. Anyone have any ideas?

Uh, if you could use Frankie's image when you get to Connecticut...

(Yes, I live in Connecticut. Pity me. )

Lol, typical Cheese. Nice job with that, look forward to seeing what you come up with for the other states.

Nooo, stay away from there, Cheese. XP

Maybe something to do with the Mackinac Bridge or Mackinac Island or the Henry Ford Museum when you get to Michigan? (Mackinac Island's a spiffy place. No cars--all horse-drawn carriages and bikes--and lots of tourist fudge. XB)

What are some landmarks in Connecticut that I could use? (Yes, I'll consider pitying you, Cassini.)

I have Michigan picked already, but I'll definately use Mackinac Island as a back up if I can't find a decent photo of what I'm planning. I actually have a few of the states panned out already, but others I'm drawing a complete blank. Like Arkansas.

Thanks for the warm compliments. I'll be working on Alaska tomorrow or Wednesday, hopefully. I'll keep you posted!

My personal favorite is the Great Elmwood Pile Of Dirt, which was the subject of a calendar I made a couple of years ago. (I was bored.) To be honest, I'm not sure we have any really noteworthy landmarks; this is a small, dull state, best known for insurance companies and losing our hockey team. Let me get back to you on this.

+1 on Mackinac Bridge. It IS Michigan.

Well...besides the rusting poverty of Detroit

They have diamond mines in Arkansas. That's the only state in the US that has diamonds. Some guy found a four-carat yellow diamond a little while back; four carats is a BOULDER in diamond standards by the way. There's also the University of Arkansas, with its football team, the Razorbacks. In case you were wondering, a "razorback" is a vicious feral hog. Bloo would probably go crazy looking for diamonds, determined to get rich, but you know he wouldn't know a diamond from a piece of broken glass, and if he found one, he'd probably chuck it away thinking it was just some old rock.

Arizona is interesting-lots of cacti, neat reptiles and TARANTULAS! And SCORPIONS!

Not a good place to be if you happen to be a huge shaggy, purple Imaginary Friend-monster dude with big horns and a Latino accent, though.
