Jupiter
Did anyone see the planet Jupiter this morning? I did. At first I thought it was a star, but I checked on my Starry Night program and it was Jupiter!
It was out at 6:30-7:00AM this morning. It was near the moon (with Earthshine):bloogrin

Jupiter is one of the brightest points of light. Through a telescope, (depending on size) you can see it and most of it's moons. Saturn is is a leaden yellow light (star), but an awesome sight thru a telescope as well.

Since we have a telescope,I will try looking at the planets with the telescope sometime. In case you don't know what Earthshine is here is a simple diagram
