I'll explain why I think the characters fit since that's still tied to the point of this thread, just more depth to it.

Frankie - Buffy Summers

Buffy's the hero and a very strong yet child like adult, she does all the work and hence why Frankie goes with her.

Eduardo - Oz

Oz is a base guitar in a band and he's actually a werewolf, so i kinda justlinked the big hairy side to Ed on that.

Bloo - Xander Harris

Both are immature, pretty basic.

Mac - Riley Finn

Level headed hero, potential boyfriend for Buffy once much like Mac was once for Frankie.

Mr. Herriman - Rupert Giles

Old, nagging, and supposedly with "wisdom".

Wilt - Angel

Angel's a vamp with a soul who tries to be nice but usually suffers for it.

Berry - Anya/Anyanka

Over possessive girlfriend.

Coco - Willow Rosenberg

Don't really got alot here

Terrance - Andrew

A geek who was a bad guy, though like Terrance, shows somewhat of a soft side (remember he was watching soaps that one time).

Goo - Cordelia Chase

Big talker, speaks her mind A LOT.

Dylan - Parker

Jack ass boyfriends who hurt their girlfriends.

Douglas and Adam - Warren and Jonathan

Two very obsessive geeks.

Duchess - Professor Maggie Walsh

They both act very.....female dog like (insert slang word here).
