One thing I like to point out to Japanese purists when they're bashing good English dubs (just because they are dubbed in English) is the Japanese dub of Beast Wars/Beasties. The acting may be fine (I can't tell since I don't speak the language) but how they changed some of the characters. Megatron went from being the smooth, calculating and charismatic mastermind to a coward that screamed like a school girl at the drop of a hat.
