OK, after seeing the "Favorite Disney Song(s)" and "Favorite TV Theme" threads, I decided to make this one:
What is your favorite movie theme music/song? Here are my three:
- Star Trek: First Contact-- The opening and closing theme from ST:FC was great. it was very soft and gentle, which made a fantastic contrast against the movie's opening.
- The Ant Bully: The opening and closing theme her is abso-frickin'-lutely GORGEOUS. It starts off with simple drums and then adds a woodwind piece and tops it all off with the full orchestra. I actually find it rather soothing to listen to-- last Sunday, I was listening to it at my part time job, SubWay, on my iPod after it had gotten INSANELY busy and it just made me calm down after getting all flustered about the huge crowd. (Big lines at work tend to freak me out a bit because I'm so paranoid about screwing something up.) I almost cried, honestly. In fact, all of the music in The Ant Bully is beautiful. Kudos to John Debney! OK, back on topic.
- Pirates of the Carribbean: This is a fun, mysterious great theme that I love to listen to.
