A point which I've been dying to make, not to you, since past years and such have been mentioned in Foster's, but to people who say that the writers of some other cartoon shows are cheating: cartoons aren't supposed to be taking place at exactly the same time as the episode airs.
Most eppies of Foster's could take place in pretty much the same year, or two years, possibly. A Lost Claus is the Christmas of the same year that House of Bloo's is set in. Go Goo Go begins in that same year also, and ends a few months after Christmas. In Nightmare on Wilson Way, if I remember correctly, the age of the characters isn't mentioned. Mac could easily be 9 in that episode, Frankie 23, Madame Foster 298 and so forth. As for the time of year, the episodes jump back and forth in time depending on what time of year is needed for the plot. On a side note, I'm assuming Squeeze the Day takes place on a weekend.
