Oh, that's just great...I have one conversation about semicolons, and now I'm the punctuation guy. That will do my street cred no end of good, I'm sure! By the way, I've changed my mind; I'm now referring to myself as a "semicolonialist".

Anyways, thanks to all of you for your kind regards! To be honest, my actual birthday ended up being something of a non-event; I had an essay deadline yesterday, so I spent the vast majority of the day working. Still, it wasn't all bad; there was a wedding in my Chinese host family yesterday too, so I at least got to take some time out for a joint Birthday/My-Chinese-Family's-Father's-Older-Brother's-Son's-Wedding Party (Or BMCFFOBSWP for short), which was a first. And more important, I go the damn essay done. Joy!
