Default VHS Tapes obituary

I found this article on this movie website that I check daily, and this caught my eye: http://www.mania.com/52810.html

Personally....this article pissed me off. I realize DVDs have inveitably taken over and replaced VHS tapes, but still, being someone who still has a vast collection of VHS tapes of stuff that will probably NEVER go on DVD.

It annoys me to see this. I never disliked VHS tapes after DVDs came out, nor did I dump them out unless they actually started to break down or something. My brother harps at me alot saying VHS tapes are crap.

That I should dump em and anyways, this just annoyed me and I don't like the idea of Variety mocking the "death" of something that was a big part of my life. As weird as it sounds. I was wondering, what do you guys think?
