Yeah, they do look quite similar. I'm not sure if I would have noticed the similarity if I hadn't known she was based off of her, but I can see it now. I also had a feeling Craig said that her entire design was based off of Lauren, including her personality.
Oh yeah, and I heard that Mac looks like Craig when he was that age - that might be how he thought up the storyline for the episode "Frankie My Dear". XD
