My experience with McDonald's toys is that they are numbered (I've seen the numbers on the bag) and they start off with #1 and go sequentially up. They will not put out the next numbered toy unless 1) the week (or whatever the promotion periods run) is up or 2) they run out of toys. There was some series of toys my son wanted ("Cars" toys I believe) and they were so popular that the local McD's went through there entire lot of toys in less than 2 weeks. It kind of stinks that if you don't go to McD's almost daily, you can miss out on several of the toys. I got toy #1 and 3 days later when I went again they were already up to #4. I just wonder if they have a policy on how many you can buy without purchasing a Happy Meal, because I see a lot of McD toys on eBay and I think it sux that greedy SOB's deprive kids from getting toys the "right" way just so they can make money.
My experience with Burger King is that they get a whole batch of toys and put out whatever they grab. I have had BK employees digging through the kid's meals bags trying to find particular toys and, thankfully, they don't seem to mind. I even had a manager go to the back and rummage through the additional inventory. So, in my opinion, you have a better chance of getting a particular toy at BK than McD's. Oh, and I guess since this is a forum on Foster's and not fast food toys; Bloo, Mac, Wilt, Eduardo, Frankie, Madame Foster, Mr. Herriman, Goo, Old Man Rivers. Yeah, that should be enough Foster's characters to make Sparky happy. Last edited by Divelucaya; 09-11-2007 at 03:11 PM. |
