2008 Creative Arts Emmy winners, animated shows
Awarded this past Sunday:
Outstanding Animated Program, One Hour or More went to South Park for the episode "Imaginationland." Outstanding Animated Program, Less Than One Hour went to The Simpsons for "Eternal Moonshine Of The Simpson Mind." Special Class, Short Form Animated Program award went to Camp Lazlo for "Lazlo's First Crush."

Yeah, I was disappointed by the winners, not just because the Avatar finale Sozin's Comet wasn't nominated this year (Damn you! ), but because the Star Wars Specials (both Robot Chicken (which I've now seen, and is hilarious) and Family Guy) didn't win.

Ok, I'm a Lazlo fan. I miss it almost as much as I do Foster's, and am happy to see it's finally being aired again in the mornings (while I'm either at work or still in bed, bah). But "Lazlo's First Crush"?? I personally wasn't too impressed at that episode. I can think of ten episodes better deserving of an Emmy than that one.
Oh well. At least Lazlo got an Emmy. For that, I'm happy for them.
