Excel Saga

I just got finished rewatching this anime with a friend of mine who I recently got into anime. I have to say, this is probably the FUNNIEST anime ever created. I had forgotten how hard this show can make me laugh or how downright crazy and ridiculous this show can get.

There's so much humor flying at you all at once its hard to stop laughing at it. Truly a great anime show that will always remain one of the greatest comedic animes ever created.

Having been bed-ridden for the past few days from being hit hard with a nasty flue that's going around, I've been watching shows that I just don't often watch. "Dirty Jobs" has been the most watched show for me. That Mike Rowe is one cool guy.

Robotech, episode forty something I believe. I really enjoyed the Macross season but this one is like watching paint dry.

The last hour of a film about singer and composer Scott Walker, once of The Walker Brothers, focusing largely on his last couple of solo albums. Has anyone heard this stuff? OMG I had no idea where he'd gone. At one point someone compared him to Beckett and yeh I can see that a bit, it's really unsettling stuff. Not what I expected at all.

One Foot in the Grave: "Beware the Trickster on the Roof"

The "trickster" in the title refers to a peculiarly-shaped TV ariel which gazes down upon the streets below, keeping a watchful eye out for the well-being of certain residents, whilst gleefully mocking all others. Classic 90s comedy. It's too bad that the really great traditional British sitcom had to die alongside Victor Meldrew.

American Gladiators (2008 version)

This show is incredibly insane and amusing to watch. Sometimes it's good to see goofy, pumped-up athletes in spandex performing outlandish stunts on national television. Heh.

On a related note, Wolf (one of the official American Gladiators) always makes me smile. His parts from the show constantly appear on The Soup, and they're hilarious. He's so out there, but he seems cool.

Heck, he even showed up on The Soup last week and poked fun at himself. That takes guts, which I can appreciate.
