Heh, cool, everyone's watching "oldschool" stuff today.

As for me, I'm watching "The Little Mermaid", that aired on Disney Channel shortly after the movie made it big in the early '90s. The movie is much better, as the series was created primarily for pre-school girls, so it can be awful young and cheesy at times. Even if there weren't any plots though, I'd still like watching it. It's the animation I always liked best of the show, not necessarily the stories. And of course, I've always loved mermaids.

Deep Space Nine. Inspired by Koosie's earlier post I dug up the old tape and watched "The Visitor" myself, and followed it with my personal favorite, "In The Pale Moonlight". DS9 is exceptional sci-fi, often underrated by many; in my opinion its best episodes rival the best of the original series and The Next Generation.

Boston Legal

"Mad about you" is the episode title and it was the first new episode they have had in a while. Every time i watch the show I got more and more moved by the deeply amazing and brilliant dialog this show puts out. I love the cast and I love how this cast is written.

It always keeps me entertained, it feels smart and funny, and I have to give a show any credit for actually giving new life to William Shatner outside of Star Trek. That was something originally I didn't think could be done.

Oh I can agree with that statment, The Venture Bros occupies a spot on my top ten list of all time favorite North American based animated shows.

And what are the other nine shows you ask...I may have already said it before, but I'll just reinterate.

(In no particular order)
1. Futurama, 2. Foster's 3. The Simpsons, 4. Batman: The Animated Series,
5. Freakazoid! 6. South Park 7. The Tick 8. Animaniacs and lastly...
9. Invader Zim

Robotech. I am so pleased that Space has started airing this 80's classic back-to-back every weekday at 5.00 PM. I always wanted to see it back in the day but never got the chance.
And it's such a joy to see some good ol, fashioned hand drawn animation. It just has this grittier, charming look to it that's lost on the super crisp and clean shows of today.

Xavier: Renegade Angel

Fantastic show. I'm not exactly the most unbiased person to ask about it, since I was a big fan of the creators previous show (Wondershowzen), and I've loved their sense of humor for a long time. Fantastic show, if you're up for the surreal.
