To be honest, i really didn't find him funny or likeable at all. The concept of what he is and what he was doing wasn't funny to me in the least and it wasn't going to be funny no matter how the episode presented him.

Lots of things can be made funny if looked at or turned a different way, but sometimes there are things that don't get funny no matter how many changes they go through. I thought he was creepy and kinda nasty looking.

Kinda like how Mac was shoved into an ice box by Berry in "Berry scary". Sure, it worked with the whole montage of Berry shoving Mac out of the picture in every scene, but in reality that isn't too funny all things considered.

I just noticed something, and I don't know if it's been pointed out yet (I haven't read the earlier posts yet), but the post man stamped a box with the name "Saul Malone" on it...

Saul Malone is the name of the main character of Saul of the Mole Men on Adult Swim. What do you think, coincidence or on purpose?

That was more then likely on purpose, as the creator of Saul of the Mole Men is none other then Craig Lewis who was on the Foster's writing staff for seasons one, two and part of seaon three.

This had to have been the crew's way of wishing Craig L luck with his new series and served as some cross promotion for another show on the network.

Just a note, if you have an "on demand" digital cable hookup, the episode is listed as "CN Invaded 1" on Comcast. If you don't, let me tell you it is the regular intro for Foster's. The title card has a purple background with the title in an orange frame with yellow lettering on a background of black and teal floralies thingies.

Ah, well, I finally got a chance to see this episode today (I missed it when it first premiered for whatever reason. I think my family was watching something else at the moment, or something) and...um...I really don't want to sound TOO harsh, but...*cracks knuckles* oh, boy is this going to be hard to do.

To be completely honest, this episode was nothing but a loud, obnoxious racket at times and the reason why is quite simple, really. One word can describe it all: CHEESE. I'm sorry, but I REALLY think this episode would've been much better without him even being in it in the first place because his constant screaming of "gotta go" really...well...has got to go, no pun intended. It just grated on my nerves big time because he just said it WAY too much. Later on in the episode I was wishing that someone would just shut him up, or something-it got really annoying after the first few times. Frankie also went through a lot of unnecessary crap at times as well, unfortunately.

Sorry, but I really can't rate this one any higher than a 5/10 and that's still being generous because...well...Eduardo was really the only saving grace for "Cheese A Go Go". His "high-moments" WERE actually very funny, but Cheese's outbursts almost overrun the good moments just because of how annoying and drawn-out they were. I really hate to be this harsh, but I think that I've had about enough of Cheese after seeing this episode. He needs to be put on the back-burner for a LOOOOOOONG time now. Don't get me wrong, Cheese was hilarious in "Mac Daddy" and I could even tolerate him in "The Big Cheese", but now it just feels as if they've ran out of ideas for his character. So yes, I was not too pleased with this episode and, unfortunately, for me it beats out "Imposter's Home" and "Beat With A Schtick" as the worst Foster's episode. I know the Foster's crew can do better than this. It almost feels as if they were restricted due to the whole "Invasion" theme, which is really unfortunate.

You preffered Cheese in The Big Cheese? I dunno. I just found that what you said could apply better to that episode than this one. But, that's just my opinion. I think they used Cheese well in this one, a source of chaos, and nothing more. Cause when he's annoying.....he's REALLY annoying.

It's not that I preferred him in "The Big Cheese" (since I actually prefer him in "Mac Daddy")...just that I merely tolerated him in it. He was a bit annoying in that one, too, but I could handle it because there were some cute moments found throughout the episode. That's all I meant by that. I just couldn't stand him in this one because I didn't think that his character was used well at all. To me he was nothing but an annoying, screaming maniac in "Cheese A Go-Go". This is just my opinion, though. We all can't agree on the same things all the time, of course, because that would just be unrealistic since people are different and everything.

Chaos Wielder: No, I agree with you on this one, I think. My main issue with Cheese has always been that he is a completely one-dimensional character, and that doesn't sit well with a character-driven show like Foster's, where a lot of the enjoyment and humour comes from getting to know the personalities and watching them react to different situations. I know a lot of people don't like Goo, and she can admittedly be overbearing, but I'd take her over Cheese any day, because she is at least an actual character with some depth and identity. Cheese on the other hand, as Ub3rD4n hinted at, plays more like a plot device masquerading as a character, merely a construct that the writers use to create lunatic gags and situations. I guess there's nothing wrong with that, but it means that there's nothing inherently interesting about him as a character; the onus therefore shifts entirely to the writers to give him something crazy, interesting and funny to do, by way of compensation. Neither "Mac Daddy" nor "The Big Cheese" would make my Top 20 episodes, but at least they both found imaginative ways for Cheese to cause trouble; by contrast, "Cheese A Go-Go" had him running around screaming the same two words for 22 minutes, and for me that just doesn't cut it.

Well, at least I now uderstand why you gusy didn't like hism in Cheese A-Go-Go. Since, as you gathered, I never liked Cheese's personality much to begin with, and tended not to focus on Cheese, I prefer it when an episode doesn't entirely focus on him, but he is merely a catalyst of crazy reactions in other characters. So, I think we got that sorted out. And I do value your opinions, no matter how different from my own they may be.
