Seems that Cartoon Network has ordered yet another reworking of the long-running series. Wikipedia summarizes the upcoming series nicely:

Nice to see they're dumping the pointless, idiotic romantic subplots that ruined Scooby-Doo: Mystery, Inc. On the downside, here's a pic of the redesigned characters:

The gang had already disavowed Scrappy-Doo in the Mystery Incorporated series.

If CN thought it would boost ratings and advertising revenue I have no doubt they'd bring back Scrappy without even pausing to think about it.
