Dick Clark is one of those TV personalities I can safely say I grew up watching. His American Bandstand was ubiquitous but no less popular, and he was pitch perfect as host of the Pyramid series. I loved listening to him on radio doing Rock, Roll And Remember every Sunday morning, until the station that carried it here changed formats.

He will be missed. I remember a school trip to New York to watch a taping of the $20,000 Pyramid (I was 14).

Not two weeks after Dick Clark dies does Bob Stewart, the creator of Pyramid (as well as The Price Is Right, Password, To Tell The Truth and many others under his own company) pass away. He was 91.
