Also in 'Land of the flea' (which is really starting to bug me because it's on ALL the time these days) when Bloo DOES have his ticks Mac says: "Bloo, those are ticks they suck out your BLOOD." I think parts the funniest part of the episode that plus Wilt announcing at the top of his lungs that he walks around nacked

Thank you; it's still difficult for me to understand how anyone could think that the Imaginary Friends in the Foster's Universe are anything BUT alive in the same sense that we are! Failure to notice that they have all the biological processes and requirements that humans do reminds me of what one of my Cajun friends down in Louisiana always says when someone fails to notice the very, very obvious-"Dey could be standin' on top o' a 30-feet hot-pink 'gatuh, and still say, "ain't no 'gatuhs in DIS pond, no?"

Few more things-in "Eddie Monster", Bloo mentions getting a sample of Eduardo's DNA in order to clone him so Mr. Herriman and Frankie won't notice he's missing. Stuffed toys do NOT have DNA; that is one of the basic traits of living things. Also, in "Bloooooo", Eduardo and Wilt are afraid that the "cannonball ghost" will "kill them dead and eat their ghosts(souls)", which means that Imaginary Friends CAN be killed and DO believe in an Afterlife. Now, you can't kill something that is not biologically alive, can you? We have also seen Wilt, and some of the other IFs, perspire in times of stress. Why does he do that? Perspiration is a warm-BLOODED organism's means of cooling down; stress causes the body's temperature to rise, which makes the BLOOD too hot, so the brain triggers the sweat glands to crank up the volumn, and the liquid sweat evaporates from the skin, lowering the skin's temperature, and the BLOOD vessels near the skin's surface are cooled as well, circulating the cooled BLOOD throughout the body to cool it down before organ failure can occur due to the temperature inside the body being too high.

Bottom line-Wilt is a living, breathing, biological being. He can be hurt, he can bleed, he can die or be killed, just like we can.

*dies of laughter* Oh god! I'm so glad that went unignored. It's he doesn't go red in the face, it went MAGENTA! Oh how I wished I could of screenshotted that part.

That's one of the strange things about him, yet it makes sence. Even though Wilt *is* red, doesn't mean his blushing doesn't go unnoticed.

But here's a question...when humans blush their faces go RED, because their blood is RED. I wonder why Wilt would turn MAGENTA if he's naturally red. Is HIS blood actually magenta?

Blood rushing to the surface of the skin just makes the skin appear darker. In a light-skinned person, the face appears red, since there's a pinkish tone there, anyway. Our blood is only red when it's carrying oxygen, by the way; veinous blood loaded with CO2 is a brownish-purple color, so when this is seen underneath a skin covering that's already red, you'd get that magenta shade.

Yay science!... wow those are two words I'd never thought I'd say in the same sentence.
I really wish I'd of seen Wilt blushing. Boy would it of made me smile.
So, what was everybodies first thing that got them into Wilt? I think mine was his height, when I first saw him on an advertisment for when Foster's first aired over here in England. I also rmemeber it took me ages to get is name right. First I thought it was Will, then I though it was Wilf (wtf?) then I thought it was then Will again and then I finally saw the pilot. Yay!

Hmm... I don't remember, really, I just remember seeing commercials with random characters from the show before it aired (Kinda like the ones of Bloo walking through the CN streets), and I remember seeing Wilt and thinking "Oh wow... that red one looks interesting!" It was so weird, because I was immediately drawn to him even before I actually saw the show - I could tell that he was going to be my favorite character regardless of whether I'd seen him or not.

I'm not clairvoyant or anything, so I'm guessing it was just a weird coincidence. I like his character design just as much as I like his personality.

Maybe what made me like his design so much in the first place, though, was his height and his perfect smile.

I was never a Cartoon Network fan at the time Foster's first aired. I can recall seeing ads in the newspaper TV section for it, but never really paid much attention, since I basically associated Cartoon Network with Anime, and I am just not a fan of that genre(no offense, many Anime fans out there). I was really introduced to the show, and to Wilt in particular, by some of the members of the Boggs Board, who also had some Foster's fanart on Deviant Art. I kept seeing posts mentioning Foster's, especially regarding the similarities to a certain Pixar movie, and I kept seeing fanart featuring this tall, lanky red thing with this huge grin on its face, which reminded me of Randall's equally large grin. It was only upon taking a closer look at the art work that I noticed that this tall red thing was missing his left arm, and had suture scars there from an obvious amputation, and that one eye looked "funny'. I also found out that the owner of that stubby arm and huge grin was called "Wilt", and he was supposed to be a really likeable character, so I got intrigued enough to start watching the show. The first episode I ever saw was "Partying is Such Sweet Soiree", and I got hooked, not just on the show, but on the Wilt-Man! Everything about him-the grin, the infectious good nature, the helpfulness, the walk, the silky-smooth voice-just grabbed me. I guess, as I've explained, Wilt appeals to some deep, primal female instinct in that personality-wise, talent-wise, athletic-wise etc., he represents the Perfect Male, in spite of not even being human! In a sense he IS human, though, since he was created by a human child, and no doubt there has to be human DNA incorporated in there somewhere, and he certainly has a very human soul, complete with weaknesses. The fact that he's almost the exact opposite of me, in terms of personality, and that there's so much about him we don't know, makes him even more intriguing, a mystery to be figured out. What more could a gal want?

Heh, I thought they were calling him Will at first too. XD

When I watched an episode of Foster's for the first time and saw Wilt I was like, "WOAH, this guy looks COOL." (I've always been attracted to tall, skinny guy characters...o.O) Then I watched more, loved his personality, attitude and CATCHPHRASE. "I'm sorry!" Then I looked up Foster's on the internet, and there was no going back after that.
