I certainly won't laugh. There are some moths that kind of creep me out, too.
I swear one of my friends from high school had Pocresophobia - Fear of gaining weight. She was always skinny, but during our Junior year she became anorexic because she wanted to be absolutely sure she wasn't gaining weight. She shrunk to the size of a rail. It lasted only that one year though so I don't know how "serious" it was. And as for a new one I just heard of, Namatophobia - Fear of names.
