Default Theme Music

This is just a thread on the theme music by James L Venable. Anybody agrees that this should've won the Emmy for Main Title Music instead of Desperate Housewives?!? I do!

I don't really watch DH, but I have heard the theme music before , and I must admit it's pretty good. It was composed by the legendary Danny Elfman, so really even though the Foster's theme is mounds of awesome and James is a great composer, there is really no shame in losing to such a musical juggernaut.

Yeah, Mr. Elfman is hardcore.

I was really bored yesterday, so I randomly played Foster's on the piano. But then I wrote a ballad version of it, and I think it sounded awesome... I still have yet to figure out the ending for both versions, but I hope I get it soon.

I watch DH every now and then, and while it is a good theme, it just isn't as catchy as Foster's is to me.

The Foster's theme IS really catchy... I burned it onto a CD even! It's a great, lyric-less change from the normal cartoon theme song drivel.

I've never heard the DH theme, but I'm guessing it was well-deserved. Danny Elfman is great at original scores, so it's still awesome that the Foster's theme was even in the running for the Emmy against such a strong composer.
