I'd say Floating on the Wings of Steam (Remix) by Chris Vrenna from the American McGee's Alice soundtrack. It's entirely instrumental, but I feel like the song is SO me in description. I could go anywhere with that playing.

I'd have to say Zeppelin's "Ramble On" The lyrics fit me almost exactly, and the actual music reflects my personality, too. I love that song.

On the Outside by Oingo Boingo. The song is 27 years old, but it fits me perfectly. Though I really wish it didn't.

No matter how I feel currently or how I think I'm feeling, I think this song always reminds me of who I am:
"In this diary" by the Ataris Here in this diary, I write you visions of my summer. It was the best I ever had. There were choruses and sing-alongs, And not a spoken feeling. I'm knowing that right now is all that matters. All the nights we stayed up talking And listening to 80's songs; Quoting lines from all those movies that we love. It still brings a smile to my face. I guess when it comes down to it... Being grown up isn't half as fun as growing up: These are the best days of our lives. The only thing that matters Is just following your heart And eventually you'll finally get it right. Breaking into hotel swimming pools, And wreaking havoc on our world. Hanging out at truck stops just to pass the time. The black top's singing me to sleep. Lighting fireworks in parking lots, Illuminate the blackest nights. Cherry cokes under this moonlight summer sky. 2015 riverside, it's time to say, "goodbye." Get on the bus, it's time to go. Being grown up isn't half as fun as growing up: These are the best days of our lives. The only thing that matters Is just following your heart, And eventually you'll finally get it right

I don't know, but I think it's "Cinderella" by The Cheetah Girls. I don't remember all the words, but at least here's a chorus:
I ain't like Cinderella Sitting in a cold rusty shelter Waiting for somebody To come and set me free I don't remember the rest of the chorus, but I do know that the end of the chorus is "I will rescue myself". I really don't know if it really is my theme song, but it's the closest, so if I found a better one that suits me more, I'll let you know.

While the city sleeps, I wander the streets,
Wanting it some other way My clothes in a bag, tired muscles sag, I've come to the end of my stay I walk through the rain, time pours down the drain, Exhausted, but I can't close my eyes I know that I tried, but I've too much to hide, And I want to stop feeding you lies. I don't know how to say I'm leaving I don't know how to say I'm leaving It still feels the same, all smoke but no flame, You know that I'll never belong Your eyes are so warm, my shelter from storm, Whatever the cost I'm not wrong. I don't know how to say I'm leaving I don't know how to say I'm leaving Any words I choose, still all of us lose, It's my dreams we all have to pay But my driving ambition, leaves no choice in decision, And I won't face another cold day. I don't know how to say I'm leaving I don't know how to say I'm leaving - Taxxi |

Hello from inside a shell
you can see me cause my shell is invisible. It was made especially for me by the brilliant inventor Lecithin E. I ride my unicycle downstairs to his laboratory when I know he's there Working on robotic aquatic bees perfecting his mechanical donkeys or running from exploding test tubes. Hello from inside a shell you can see me cause my shell is invisible. It was made especially for me by the infamous inventor Lecithin E. I ride my boat car through the rays of his reverse megnetitizer when I'm feeling brave. Then everything I touch shoots into space and astronauts shake their fists at us saying be careful. He's promised to build us a world of our own far away from this one In uncharted regions where no one will go. He's promised to build us a world of our own. We'll find an island somewhere near the North Pole And He'll invent lots of strange new animals to inhabit it so we won't feel alone. And we'll be happy there there there all covered in snow. He's promised to build us a world of our own and here we go. Cause there's like totally a point to italicizing all the lyrics we post. |

I'm guessing thats Bowie? Good stuff, thought it was Syd Barret for a second there
here's Ramble On for those of you unfamiliar with it's awseome-riffic coolness: Leaves are falling all around, Its time I was on my way. Thanks to you, Im much obliged For such a pleasant stay. But now its time for me to go, The autumn moon lights my way. For now I smell the rain, And with it pain, And its headed my way. Ah, sometimes I grow so tired, But I know Ive got one thing I got to do, Ramble on, And nows the time, the time is now To sing my song. Im goin round the world, I got to find my girl, on my way. Ive been this way ten years to the day, ramble on, Gotta find the queen of all my dreams. Got no time to for spreadin roots, The time has come to be gone. And tho our health we drank a thousand times, Its time to ramble on. Ramble on, And nows the time, the time is now To sing my song. Im goin round the world, I got to find my girl, on my way. Ive been this way ten years to the day, ramble on, Gotta find the queen of all my dreams. I aint tellin no lie. Mines a tale that cant be told, My freedom I hold dear; How years ago in days of old When magic filled the air, Twas in the darkest depths of mordor I met a girl so fair, But gollum, and the evil one crept up And slipped away with her. Her, her....yea. Aint nothing I can do, no. Ramble on, And nows the time, the time is now To sing my song. Im goin round the world, I got to find my girl, on my way. Ive been this way ten years to the day, ramble on, Gotta find the queen of all my dreams. Gonna ramble on, sing my song Gotta keep-a-searchin for my baby... Gonna work my way, round the world I cant stop this feelin in my heart Gotta keep searchin for my baby I cant find my bluebird! Id listen to my bluebird sing but I cant find my blue bird A-keep-a ramblin baby...
