No that couldn't have been the case, as Chewy himself is an imginary puppy (Which is why Chewy is still living in Foster's despite being ruled over by a Dog hating president.) and well you know about the whole business about imaginaries not being able to imagine new friends as it was brought up in the Land of The Flea episode, When Bloo wanted Mac to imagine him some fleas of his own, Bloo was all he like if could do it himself, he would, but he couldn't, so he was dependent on Mac to do it for him.

After reading through the 'Wilt' thread, it reminded me, remember when everyone moved back together in "Room with a Feud"? It's interesting to see how close they are, and more pointedly how Bloo was willing to go too, since he was fighting and all.

I have to give credit where credit is due, and salute the staff for creating such a wild, unpredictable, hysterical and memorable character out of just a little blue blob. It sends a really nice message to all the hacks and wannabes out who think that elaborate CGI and complicated technical details are more important than the heart and personality of the characters.

VIVA LA BLOOREGARD.

I think that's true not just of character design but of media in general these days. It feels like they're focusing too much on razzle dazzle (getting every one of a characters CGI feathers perfectly detailed, for example) and forgetting the heart of the story their trying to tell.

I love little Blooregard...a lot. A**holes are my bread n' butter when it comes to all spectrems of pop culture. And (in addition to being SO FREAKIN' CUTE) my favorite thing about him is how his gigantic ego totally eclipses everything. No wonder he can't see how much he annoys people, there's no way his lil' two foot nuttin' frame could see over it.

And his voice is just...*hugs Keith Fergeson*

I would love to see one hint or reference to Bloo's blanket theory....I always thought his love for hugs was one of those references, but that could be analyzing a bit too much.
He DOES like contact with people...a blanket is in direct contact with someone, but again that could be stretching it.

Wouldn't it be cute if there were a scene where the heat is out at Foster's in the middle of winter, and Bloo offers to keep Mac warm?
Aw.
Yeah well I just live for little things like that, call me strange if you want.
