You're right, it's not hard to do. Hollywood is a skanky, skanky place.
I'm a girl, so no crush here, but I DO think Frankie is very pretty and would be a blast to meet.

I agree, most of Hollywood women don't match up to the looks of Frances Foster, even though she's a fictional character.

I think this all verges on tastes once more. People find the strangest things and the strangest characters attractive. Just like you guys are saying Hollywood's hotties aren't attractive to you, the same can be said to others bout animated hotties.
I'm not knocking em I'm just saying it's all a matter of what is attractive to who and what not. I myself admit my liking for animated girls is a tad bit stronger, there's a few RL girls that I find drop dead goregous that do exist in the land of Hollywood though. But I think animated girls can be just as beautiful and as interesting to know (if we ever could get to know em) as Hollywood's girls. Of all the animated females I could meet, and date if I could that is. My top 5 would be, in this order: 1. Lita/Sailor Jupiter (Sailor Moon) 2. Frankie Foster (Foster's) 3. Misty (Pokemon) 4. Mahoro (Mahoromatic) 5. Bunnie Rabbot (Sonic the Hedgehog)

I think Mr. Marshmellow was able to say what I would not be able to put in such fine words.

Quite well said. Beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder, after all. The are some very beautiful women in Hollywood, but for the most part there's no one out there I would care to have a relationship with. Given a choice, I'd pick a cartoon or a Sim every time.

That's why I love voice actors over "real" celebrity's. They are real people and infinetly more interesting them all the Tom Cruse's and Nichole Kidman's out there.
Animated characters have this appeal to people. Be it something as shallow as them haveing perfect bodies that can only be obtained from an animation cell, or the character of the character itself. So much love and care is put into so many wonderful characters that it's hard not to become attached, or even attracted, to them. I don't let my friends or family know about my cartoon crushes because they would be quick to riddicule me. The most common responce you get is "Dude, their cartoons!" and then you're told you need to get out more. Granted, some people can take a cartoon crush a little too far...

I actually feel odd at having had more infatuations with animated characters than the Hollywood hunks out there. Orlando Bloom? I have absolutely no clue as to why so many girls adore that man, nor I do find anything particularly attractive about him (or any other male Hollywood icon for that matter). I'll pick Randall Boggs over an army of red carpet-strutting "hunks" any day. |
