At the official Tron website, there's a trailer for the upcoming video game Tron: Evolution. It's apparently meant to be a prequel to the movie: www.disney.com/tron

I only remember seeing bits and pieces of Tron way back, maybe it's time I watch the movie in full. So am I headed into a classic, cult classic, or so-bad-it's-good classic?

Cult classic, I'd say. The critics didn't much care for it but I stopped listening to them a long time ago.

Just watched the original Tron today. I really enjoyed it (not surprised since I loved Reboot). It had that classic feel that I love about sci-fi movies from the 80's where you actually feel like you're in another world. And I loved the special effects! I swear that someone needs to drop all the cgi stuff and go back to these classic effects, they just seem to hold up better, in my opinion.

I've gotta say that this movie hyped me up even more for the upcoming game Transformers: War for Cybertron. The game features a similar design to the bright light outline that brought the movie to life.
