Default Episode discussion "Squeakerboxxx"

I was shocked that I couldn't find a discussion thread for this episode. (I hope somebody didn't already make one.)

The part I liked the best was when Bloo pushed Baby Paco off the roof and bounced back up while Eduardo tried to catch him.

It's always been one of my favorites. Frankie had some funny moments, Bloo's exaspiration while impatiently waiting for his turn to play with Baby Paco was amusing, as was the arguing on the bus, and of course there's Mr. Herriman's famous line, "I dislike you with great intensity", one of the best lines of the entire series. Heck, if it wasn't nearly 3:45 in the morning here I might go watch it now. I really enjoyed this one.

Yeah, those parts were also funny, out of all those parts of Bloo waiting for his turn is when he was waiting for Mac. Me and my older sister both like that part.

The part where Bloo is twirling around in that orange dreamscape "field" (in reality, a bathtub), made me think, "wouldn't making a Foster's music soundtrack CD be great?" The Foster's composers are definitely way above the cartoon standard in my opinion.

Yeah, you can really hear the '60s/'70s sound that Craig and Co. were looking for in that scene. The tune may be new, but I swear, the music sounds just like many I grew up with, as my parents use to listen to a lot of oldies and easy-listening.

We've discussed a Foster's soundtrack CD here before, although I don't remember where (it doesn't have its own thread yet). A lot of us would love to see one come out.

As for my favorite scene, hmmm... Maybe when Bloo is blowing his chance at winning a new toy until the last minute. You can watch Mac, and he literally doesn't move from the same spot on the TV screen for many scenes, and just keeps glaring at Bloo. That was great.

I like that part too. Oh heck, I might as well say I like all the parts.

Perhaps one of my favorites, this episode is always a pleasure to watch- it is fairly simple and not all-out wacky, but had plenty of good moments, especially...

Another neat gag was when Mac stayed in the same spot on the screen when Bloo was wasting time at the arcade

I have just been reading what Lauren Fraust (is that how you spell it?) has written on the Toonzone Forums, and she says that this episode is one the crew like, but the fans hate- really? Who hates it? I thought this one was well received. I cannot see why anybody would hate it.

You can see the links in the last page of the Imposters thread

Another thing I have just noticed- It is in the morning for Coco's turn- and in those two hours Mac makes Bloo win the tickets, but with 15 minutes to go, Bloo gets the teeth, tries to trade the little girl, runs away- but when he wakes up from being punched, the sky is orange- the sun appears to be setting! They get back in time for Eduardo's turn, and it is daytime again! Not to nitpick a great episode, I'm not going to allow time of day to spoil it

Agreed!
Also, Bloo has a really funny speech about the elephant with that girl - ,,I need the elephant for my uncle. He has... elephantisis." or something like that.
