Favorite Super Bowl Ads
With a new set of Super Bowl ads coming this Sunday, I thought it would be a good time to display other good commericals from the past:
1980 Coca-Cola commercial-This was perhaps very touching, partly because "Mean" Joe Greene gave his jersey to the kid who had offer his drink. Overall, the best ad from Coca-Cola. 2006 Coca Cola commercial-A combination of a Grand Theft Auto parody and a neat song (Give A Little Love) makes it very entertaining in the process.

LOL I can remember any. But I'm sure the new Iron Man trailer & (if it airs during Super bowl) Indiana Jones IV trailer will make it.

Yeah, Coca Cola commercials are usually very well done and memorable. One of my favorite and well remembered ads was the Coke commercial where everyone meets at the top of a hill and sings "I'd like to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony! I'd like to buy the world a Coke, and keep it company!" Great song, such a feel good ad. The Polar Bears are also great mascots for Coke, their ads are so cute.
I've also loved the M&M ads, they are so funny. At least the ones from the '90s were. Some of their later ones are getting kind of dry. One of my favorites is the Christmas one where the M&Ms are carrying a bowl of the candy to the Christmas tree, and one says to the other "How do we know for sure that Santa's real?" The other says something like "You just have to believe" or something like that. Then they reach the tree, and Santa is already there stuffing the stockings, and the second M&M blurts out "He does exist!" and faints. And then Santa says "They do exist!" and faints. And the M&M carrying the bowl of candy is left standing alone, and says "Uh.... Santa?" LOL, one of the best ads ever, I love it so much! Another favorite of mine from the early '90s was for Nestle chocolate products. It was a smorgusboard of like 10 ads all put together to a catchy song. It started out with an ad from the '50s, and then added the more recent ads for it's products, like Tollhouse, Nestle Crunch Bars, Raisinettes, and others, and then ended with the '50s ad again. A great tribute. It almost left me feeling emotional when it finished. We had it recorded on an old VHS tape, so I got to see it every so often. I remember finding the tape and watching it JUST for the ad, lol. Now it's old and warped, and barely plays any more. I'm so sad that I might never see that ad again.

When it comes to classic SuperBowl advertisments, this one has always been one of my all time faves. Big Brother, meet big hammer! :p

I'll throw this one into the ring. These aren't Super Bowl ads, but I certainly remember them fondly: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NeK5Z...eature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ug75d...eature=related

I've always loved the one with the zebra referee examining the last few frames of a horse race.
