Default Well, It's Official...

this forum is now blocked/banned by our school district's "filter" program. The reason? It's an :Online Gaming" site! I bet that's news to most of you, huh? That means I can no longer access NF at work, ever, which sucks beyond belief.

Are you serious? That's completely ridiculous. I would love to see these alleged "games" they're talking about; I certainly can't find them anywhere.

So they saw the site in the school's browser history or something and decided to investigate it? Perhaps they saw my BFAHP guide and assumed the game itself was here. (Considering all the people who think I *run* BFAHP just because I have a guide AND the site's domain name sounds official, it wouldn't surprise me.) They would have looked at the index page first I'm sure, not the forum.

I've long since decided that my workplace IS Hell, so that's probably a large part of the problem!

Incidentally, Sparky, "online gaming" is supposed to mean, according to the software's definitions, games of chance, i.e, GAMBLING. You know, things like online Texas Hold 'Em tournaments, where money is wagered in the millions of dollars. South Carolina bans such sites in public places(like public schools) or places of business. So, I guess BFAHP is right up there with video poker now!

Hmmm, did you try using a public proxy? That might get though the block. That is if you want to try to get around it, I don't know if you'll get in trouble or anything =\

Maybe they misinterpreted the donation part of the site as a function to wager money online. All I can suggest is to use your own online devise, like a laptop, to go around the locks. But I'm not too knowledgeable about how those locks would work, say, if you used their hot spot or something.

Why would you access the site at work anyway?
