"Car Talk" guys getting their own cartoon show
Tom and Ray Magliozzi, alias "Click & Clack, the Tappet Brothers" on NPR's weekend show Car Talk where they crack silly jokes while dispensing automotive advice to callers, are getting their own cartoon show. It is being made now for a summer debut on PBS prime time.
The show has no name as of yet, so Tom and Ray are entreating listeners to visit their site here and think up a name. The winning entry will award the author with a cameo on an episode. It'll be interesting to see if the show will feature the same ersatz credits as they have on their radio show (Wardrobe advisor: Luke Howard Fitzu; Customer Care Representative: Haywood Jabuzoff, among them). Here's the initial art and solicitation:

Haha, when I first read the thread title, I thought of "Home Improvement" (classic '90s sitcom), but reading later that it will be on PBS prime time, it's now sounding more like "The Red Green Show" (which has got to be one of the funniest shows EVER on PBS, that and "Mr. Bean", lol!). I'll try to catch this when it comes on. I'm expecting it will be hilarious, and hoping my expectations are right.
