it keeps goin on even after i do my duties how do u end it

You can quit any game by clicking on the 'return to house' icon & then log out.

no i mean like the day who do i end it so i can get more duties and advance to the next day

If you've completed your daily duties you won't have any new duties until 24 hours (I think) have passed.

not really 24 hours, unless they changed it. because i occasionally log on at 10 or so and do all my chores, and just play games until 11(12 eastern) and in a few mins, new chores are up.

That is correct. The new day starts at 12 am eastern time. I've done the same thing you mentioned NUMEROUS times. It's nice when I know I get to open a game "tomorrow." Instead, I can do it before I go to sleep. :bloogrin
