Dreamworks now owns Classic Media library
Dreamworks Animation has ponied up $155 million for the Classic Media library of cartoon stars. Classic Media had owned and distributed the Jay Ward library (Rocky & Bullwinkle, George Of The Jungle), Total Television (Underdog, Tennessee Tuxedo), Harvey (Casper The Friendly Ghost, Little Audrey, Herman & Katnip), UPA (Mr. Magoo, Dick Tracy), along with The Lone Ranger, Felix The Cat, Roger Ramjet, Archie, and Rankin-Bass' holiday specials (Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer).
Related note: Ginny Tyler, who was a Mousketeer in the syndicated repackaging of the original Mickey Mouse Club and the voice of Casper the Friendly Ghost in 1963 (The New Casper Cartoon Show), died at a nursing home in Washington state. She was 86.

Huh! What do you think they plan to do with those properties? Just make movies?

Hard to tell. Many of items that became movies (Rocky & Bullwinkle, Underdog, Mr. Magoo) didn't do too well theatrically.
