I remeber having this one dream where they made a battlezone movie, and I spent the entire dream complaining about the movie and how it was wrong while watching it. Which was weird.

Foster's Legend

I remember having this one dream about 8 years ago, and it was one of the strangest I had ever had, even to this day. I was falling throught the air past all this scenery, which strangley looked like the backgrounds of the earliest SuperMario games. Then, all of the sudden, just when I was about to hit the ground, these two gigantic hands popped up out of nowhere and caught me! Even back then, I had always examined my dreams to see if they were trying to tell me something. I still wonder if that somehow translates into something that will actually happen to me, or has already happened to me... I don't know, but I do know it was weird...
Then, there was this other time last year that I had this dream that I was swimming in a giant pool with Shamu. Only, you guys will think this is really weird, but I leave the radio on when I go to sleep, and sometimes whatever is on the radio will show up in my dreams. So, throughout the whole length of my dream, John Reuben's "Nuisance" was playing in the background. And this is the last one, but it's still really weird because every single best friend I've had in the past showed up in it. Well, I was walking around at an amusement park when I saw bigtime j-pop idol, Gackt, sitting at this table, ready to give out autographs. But here's the really weird part. Gackt is super popular, and almost every girl loves him, but nobody was in line for an autograph, not even one person. Well, I personally don't listen to Gackt all that much, but I felt bad for him, so I decided I would take a notebook over to him and have him sign it. But, I kept losing it because I kept seeing my old friends for a split second, and then they'd disappear. So, finally, my old friend, Tara, pops up out of nowhere, (My friend Tara was widely known for getting her feelings hurt easily and crying about it.) and says to me, "Why do you even care?! You don't even LIKE him!". Then, a football shows up in her hand, and she proceeds to chuck it at his head. Only, it misses, and he didn't even seem to notice that she threw it at him. That's where the dream cuts off. Pretty weird, huh?

Whenever I'm not dreaming about video games, though, most of my dreams are still weird. I dreamt once about a cat that looked JUST like Palvan off of Mr. Stain on Junk Alley (BEFORE I saw Mr. Stain on Junk Alley... strange). One I remember specifically, though, was that I was in a house that looked normal on the outside, but everything inside was Alice in Wonderland-ish. Nothing was as it seemed. I dropped a cup and instead of shattering, it bounced and quacked, and I looked into the fridge and instead of seeing the inside of the fridge, it was a bunch of moving colors and shapes. The back yard was not grassy, but covered in giant squishy tiles of primary colors. I don't know where most of the dream came from, but I must have been sick because I always dream extremely odd things whenever I'm sick. I also dream a lot that I see and talk to ghosts, which is actually cooler and less scary than it sounds.

I've never read through this thread but I had a weird non-Foster's dream last night and I had to come here to post it. I had super-powers!
So in the dream it was *basically* the Marvel world where there are mutants living among non-mutants, only in this particular universe there was no "war" against mutants and we (for I was one, I was some sort of animal-woman, I *think* it was a hyena, which is actually my favorite animal, so that's cool) lived side-by-side with the non-mutants. Anyways, I was just starting college and it was the first day of classes. Prior to this first day some of the other mutants had been not-so-secretly spreading the word that they wanted the other mutants to ditch class and attend meetings for practising your powers, supposedly to start fighting crime. But you know how these things pan out and I was certain that No Good would come of it and some people would become villains - so I was hesitant to go. So I showed up in the giant building where all the classes were (it was a college with a single building) - and all of a sudden all these mutants started demonstrating and stuff to try to rally all the mutants together into their little organisation. One chick was lifting this giant post or something way up to the ceiling (there was a courtyard in the center of the building so it was the ceiling at the top of the building, you know), there were people throwing ice and fire, people changing into stuff, people zooming around at lightspeed, etc. And then (dun dun) people started getting hurt! (duh) And the non-mutants freaked out and started attacking every mutant in sight, we fought back, there was this Big Thing, and I guess the police showed up before I could wreak my hyena-wrath on anyone. It was weird but cool. I guess the War On Mutants started at a college, lol.

Last night I had a dream about a young child's Harry Potter train set. These little kids called Crookshanks "Africa" and Hermione "Galadriel". Also Harry popped up from a compartment with smoke coming out. The trio were in chibi form and Hagrid was a foot tall. The train came out of Crookshanks mouth for some reason.

LOL GTL that reminds me of some of the messed up dreams I have!
I always have dreams that I see ghosts. I had a dream the other night that I woke up, and I was in my bed, but the light in the room adjacent to mine was on, and I heard shuffling and rustling and footsteps in there. I was kinda freaked out because my room is set up weird - in order to get downstairs, I have to walk through my room and that room. I somehow KNEW that it was a ghost in there. I walked up to the passageway that leads from my room to the other room, being sure to make as much noise as possible to maybe scare it off before I got there. The noises quit when I got right up on the room, and whenever I finally worked up enough nerve to peek in, what I saw made me immediately not frightened anymore. It was a male about my age (18), curled up in the fetal position on the floor looking terrified. I walked up to him because he looked like he needed help, and I asked him what was the matter. He wouldn't tell me, but he kept shaking and started crying and hugging me. He never told me what was wrong, but I think I did some good because while I was hugging him, he eventually stopped crying. Whatever it was, something upset him in the worst of ways. I've always heard of people seeing ghosts in their dreams that turn out to be real ghosts of real people... hopefully this one was just my imagination, not necessarily because I'd be scared, but I'd hate to not be able to help someone who is in that much emotional turmoil for eternity. It started out to be a scary dream, but it ended up being rather sad.

I am an aviation enthusiast (I did take lessons and had some few hours in the Cessna 172). But I have dreams where planes fall out of the sky. Here is one of them:
A friend and myself were riding our bicycles in a neighborhood. I think it is in AZ (despite seeing all the trees along the street). We are near an airport, and I see a DC-9 (an older twin jet engined near the T-tail) airliner either on final or taking off (I don't remember). We stop to watch it, and all of the sudden we hear the engines wind down. The airplane goes into a nose-down plunge. Even though we are more than a mile from the plane, we duck behind a brick wall. We hear a terrific explsion and we still get hit with metal fragments. We look and see larger sections of the aircraft rolling in the street. I look down, and I see a human hand. Then I woke up... |
