Baby Water Snakes!
Anybody wanna baby snake? My hypomelanistic female Midlands Water Snake gave birth earlier this week to 43-yes, 43-babies. Two were still-born, and one runt died the following day, so I've still got 40 to find homes for(and Frankie thought SHE had problems finding homes for a few jellyfish). Some of 'em are showing a lot of reddish coloring, so hopefully they'll wind up looking like their mom, seen here, a day before giving birth:
Here's some of the babies, roughly half the litter, in a pile: And here's a close-up of one of the lighter-colored babies: They're only about five-six inches long right now, so they're really small. These are good snakes for someone who has issues with feeding mice or other small rodents to a snake, since these eat fish, primarily. I knew the mother was going to have a large litter, but 43 is a bit much! pitbulllady |

Lol, sorry, I can't. No more animals for me, not even a new tarantula. I hope you posted this on actual reptile boards too.
