Heroes
Anyone seen one of NBC's latest show?
I have to say, Heroes is perhaps one of the few shows out there that is able to use something old and make it fresh and entertaining. The plot is astoundingly great, the characters are very interesting, including some unexpected twists. Other than that, a good show with a unique plot.

I love Heroes to death. It's such fun. I mean every episode just hooks me more and more. Many geeks scream rip off, but I just yell back, "Shut up and enjoy."
It's just nice to see superheroes taken seriously by the masses outside a brand. Oh, I'm just gushing now. I guess I should actually ask something. How far is everyone who's been watching into the show, and what do you think so far? I mean theories and all that. |

I absolutely love the show, FINALLY a sci-fi show that has proven how desperately TV networks need to bring back "unique" shows like Buffy the vampire Slayer and Angel were: supernatural and super weird freaky crap. Rarely do you find shows with this kind of science fiction that can do it properly.
"Heroes" is an amazing show and is in a sense, a toned down version of x-men. With dozens of unique and well portrayed characters with super powers that aren't too supremely far fetched' and yet, still able to surprise us and shock us with whatever new mutant appears next. I truly, truly, love this show . My favorite story segments would have to be Peter Patrelli and Claire Bennett, I also enjoy Hiro's story alot. As far as theories go, we already know the "bomb" storyline will be resolved by the end of this season so I think it's safe to say some ONE will blow up. My theory is it boils down to 3 possible characters. Peter, Sylar, or Ted (the nuclear guy). It's my belief that one of the them will go nuclear, be it Peter tries to absorb Ted's powers and overloads, or Ted battles with Sylar for whatever reason and destroys himself to kill Sylar. I really hope Peter does not die as I love him as a character for the show. But that doesn't make me think he might not die. My other theory is that Niki (Ali Larter) has the power to harness spirits in her body, I believe that because it is stated her sister Jessica is dead, and split personalities do not carry super human strength or talk to people from inside mirrors. My guess is Niki's power is being able to channel spirits into her body or that she can draw spirits to grow stronger, or something like that. Obviously Jessica is the more dominant side currently and I also wonder about the Haytian's powers. I'm curious to know if his "hollowing" out is permanent. Or does it ware off after a while? I also think Isaac might die since Hiro's attempt to save Charlie before failed. And Hiro did forsee Isaac's death. Anyway don't anyone read what I am saying as FACTS because they are NOT, there just theories and my theories at that.

X-Men, Rising Stars, Misfits of Science to name a few, ordinary people who find out that they're super-powered and that the fate of the world is in their hands.
It's a common theme though. Not really a rip-off at all. Besides, there are no new ideas. Hey, how about last night's episode? WOW! |

Kill Peter! They wouldn't dream of it. That guy gets cooler with every episode. And they finally proved Dr. Suresh is smart!
