It Maybe "Retardo Land," but...
Some areas in the greater Maricopa County area (Pheonix et al) do have nice places. Where I live is an example - Fountain Hills.

Nice place; kind of reminds me a bit of the architecture I saw in some parts of San Diego.

Wow! What a great place! Those are 2 big Washingtonia palms, right? Some of my plants would love it there. Nice looking motor too.

Nice crib you got there, Howard! After living in NM for a number of years, I've come to like stucco, and how insulating it is. AZ's climate is a bit too warm for me, but I always did like the wide openness. Just endless sky! Very nice area.

To be honest with you Lynnie - I would rather live in New Mexico. It has not grown like Arizona. Las Cruces has only 93,000 people. I love the way NM has more open land than AZ. I have a friend of mine from Las Cruces visiting with us now (he originally lived here in AZ). |

My parents were in Albuquerque for eight years, and I was out there too for about four and a half. It's a very nice area, we loved the Sandia and Sangre de Christo mountains. And skiing at Taos and Santa Fe. I absolutely love where I am now too, but I sure miss the monsoon season. That was a fun time of year. I really miss it down there sometimes.
