In a nutshell, this website says that Foster's isn't good for little kids. And it's one of those sites that has tips for parents.

That's a pretty stupid article. It's a very imaginative show, the 'potty humor' is nowhere near as bad as it's contemporaries, the characters DO contribute to the plot, and the conflict(characters yelling, being frustrated, etc) is necessary to add depth to the show and make the characters even more likeable and endearing.

If they mentioned the unwarranted malice and cruelty of "Imposter's"(ugh) and "Foster's Goes To Europe" as a strike against the show, I'd give the article some credit. But as it stands, it's very poorly written and kinda ignorant of the actual show.

Very much. But it's still good for a laugh. Apparently they didn't do to much research on the show.

That was the dumbest review I have ever read, and that's all I have to say.

One of the things I love about Foster's is that it has more soul than most kids' cartoons, but apparently these people don't agree.

"The imaginary friends are an eclectic and interesting bunch of monsters, but they run around in a pack and contribute very little to the plot. The premise is sweet, but the content is nothing more than rough-and-tumble boys' games.

Instead of following an imaginative storyline, the main characters yell and shout in frustration, buck the rules, and wrangle the innocent and vulnerable. It's hard not to wonder whether the creator dropped out of the project altogether, leaving it in the hands of less-capable writers."

Ahh, good times. Like all good sensible parents, these soccer moms are sure to send the "Everyone is Always Nice and Uses Indoor Voices Except You" message to their children.

"Parents looking for better alternatives can check out Ed, Edd, n Eddy and Time Warp Trio."

.........

WHAT WHAT WHAT?!

"The main characters often yell and shout in frustration and are prone to breaking rules." Well, it's not like the kid wouldn't learn to yell and shout in frustration or end up breaking rules either. And having moments of anger make the show more realistic. You want your kid to believe that everything is always happy? Then don't expose them to the real world.

And that thing about "A bust this large needs ample support"--a young kid normally wouldn't get the hidden sexual reference, unless he's been exposed to vast amounts of cartoons with that sort of stuff, and if so, then golly. Better stop worrying about a perfectly good cartoon and re-evaluate what you expose your kid to, hmmm?

"Instead of following an imaginative storyline..."
Yes, a singing deodorant stick is very uncreative.

That's messed up. EEnE is a very rowdy, crude and often meanspirited show. Why would be a viable alternative to Foster's?

LOL... nerrrrds...

AND ALSO Ed Edd n Eddy? For an alternative for WEE LITTLE CHILLUNZ?, (i LOVE Ed, Edd, n Eddy, So i'm allowed to say this... xD) But you can find dirtier things in ed, edd, n eddy than a lot of the cartoons on cartoon network. LOL... Does anyone remember the "magazine" episode?

But yeah... If people dont like it, It's them... We can all like it because we are not 4

i like the phrase 'eclectic and interesting bunch of monsters' but it better describes my family and friends than anything in Fosters.

Other than that this article is dreary kipple. Are this lot really allowed to fill my nice planet with their kind?
