Default RIP Walter Cronkite

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_obit_walter_cronkite

This was a true broadcaster. These modern day news people are not even worthy to scrape the mud off his shoes. If only the news media would go back to reporting the news as facts instead of sensationalism. I attended and graduated from the Cronkite School of Broadcast Journalism at Arizona State University. It is still one of the top ten schools to attend. He has gone to the realms of the Edward R. Morrows, and the "golden age" of the great newsmen. A true gentleman.

Yeah, I heard this from my dad today. Very sad. He did live a good long life, though. RIP Mr. Cronkite.

Mr. Cronkite was truly a class act, a man who reported the facts without distortion and never slanted them towards his own views. There hasn't been an honorable man like him in the news business for ages; we'll not see the likes of him again. He'll definitely be missed.

Oh man, I heard he hasn't really been doing too well lately. This is really sad. R.I.P. Mr. Cronkite.

Oh, no...I didn't know he'd passed away! We've been without electricity due to horrible storms until just a while ago, and I haven't had any news channels on, so this is the first I've heard of it. He will certainly be missed, as this was the standard by which so many broadcast journalists will be judged.
