Default VeggieTales

I started this thread to ask if there were any fans of the VeggieTales series on this board. I do not think there is a thread for this show, so I decided to start one.

I discovered this show on NBC a few months ago and I think it is a great show. It is very entertaining and also promotes good values for the kids, which is nice.

Anyway, I just wanted to see if anyone here was a fan.

YES!

I haven't seen it in a year or so, though. I miss it. My best friend bought me a few videos a few years back, but my younger sis "borrowed" them, and in the process of moving, they somehow got lost. I have since added every known DVD to my Wish List. Haven't gotten any yet. Perhaps I'll just buy them for myself one of these days.

I just love Larry, he's soooo funny! I especially love the little songs he sings. "Oh Where is my Hairbrush?" is probably my favorite. But I also loved the one where he's at a counselors office complaining about his lips.... LOL!! I also like Junior Asparagus, he's cute.

Aw man, I'm missing it more just talking about it. I haven't seen it in so long. They've aired it on NBC?? I know they air it on DayStar sometimes. Huh, I need to keep my eyes open for it more often.

Yes, they do show the episodes on NBC. They show them on Saturday mornings on their kid's block, qubo. It's nice find a fan here;I would like to see who else is a fan, just because.

I second the Larry love; He's silly, sweet, and awesome.

I edited the title of this thread because I really don't want any talk of God on this forum. And yeah I think its possible to talk about VeggieTales without talking about God, that's why the thread is still here. If anyone has a problem with that let me know, but as y'all should be aware religious topics really aren't allowed here.

I'm sorry about the thread title. I wanted the title to grab the attention of the forum members so they would stop by and post their thoughts about the subject. I was not aware about the rules concerning religious content, but I'll make note of it.

A post I did in the "The Quoting War" thread a few months ago. I just loved that song!

I remember another scene where they're all watching home slides of Larry and Bob on vacation, and then didn't they do another parody of it in another episode later? Bob always got the short end of the stick. Soooooo funny!

I have a bunch of the vegitales videos, my 2 year old likes them, (not as much as Gonzo and the muppets)

I think there OK, they do teach good values, but I HATE Evangelism. Vegitales are definitly christain and not a "non dominational" religion.
(I say this as a fact not as a religions opinion or discussion so I hope Sparky may edit if it is inapropiate)

overall I think the vidios and Silly songs with Larry are great, but the TV version seems to be missing every third frame so it seems kind of choppy in comparison.

I love VeggieTales! Yes, it is awesome! I have every DVD and I watch all the spin-offs. I've watched it since 1993. I'm a Christian, btw. Who else is?

Oh look, the thread isn't dead yet. Nice to see some devoted fans out here; there really should be more Vegetable enthusiasts around.

Btw, does anyone know about the new show coming out this month or the new movie? I wanted to see if anyone was aware of these things; I was, but I'm just looking for your thoughts on the subjects.

"The Wonderful Wizard of Ha's" is released October 9...
"The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything Movie" is being released January 8, 2008, I believe.
