R.I.P Oscar Mayer
Another icon passed away on July 6, 2009. He ran the the Oscar Mayer company since 1965.
Anyways, hot dogs will never be the same

How sad. I want to sing the Oscar Mayer song in memory of him now. RIP Oscar, your food products will forever more be an icon of childhood.

You must be referring to the grandson of founder Oscar F. Mayer, Oscar G. Mayer, Jr. Here's the brief article of Mayer's death. I'm sorry to hear that he's gone. At least he went peacefully. RIP, Mr. Mayer.
