![]() Don't know whether this should be in here or in the Comic-Con section...anyway, I'm just wondering if there's any good places to get an adapter that you can plug UK plugs into, which in turn plug into US sockets. The reason for this is because I'll need to charge my phone while I'm in San Diego.

![]() As I recall, I'm pretty sure they sell these things at Wal-Marts in with the luggage and whatnot. (At least they do in the Midtown Anchorage Wal-Mart...)
Other than that, I'm afraid I can't be of much help. Sorry-- hope that's what you're looking for! ![]()

![]() Uh, I'd buy something from amazon.com, otherwise look up some large electronics store, or alternatively, a travel store (the kind that sells luggage, travel guides, maps, etc.) The biggest thing to look out for is the voltage of your equipment. I do believe most of the US runs on 110 V.

![]() +1 on the voltage requirements.
That said, what model is your phone and what's the output voltage on the adapter? A/C adapters are $1-2 around local thrift shops here ... that may be even cheaper than a plug adapter. |

![]() My phone is an NEC e616, I've had it for the last 4 years. According to the charger the input voltage is 100-240V, while the output is 5.3V.

![]() Well, haven't ran across one yet in the 8 thrift shops I've hit in the past week ... since your adapter is a "worldwide voltage" one, I'm thinking at this poit to just consider a plug adapter.
