Crossovers are amazing when done properly. The problem as I said before, is the copyrights issue which is the only thing that holds future crossovers from happening. Simpsons did it with the Critic, Dragon Ball Z did it with Sailor Moon (except it was porn).

Probably the best examples of crossovers ever were The Jetsons meets the Flintstones and of course, "Who Framed Rodger Rabbit?". Rodger rabbit had an ass load of cartoon stars from multiple companies and it's only because the movie was such an landmark in special effects, that the other companies did it.

It also helped that it was taken good care of by top notch actors, writers, and director, Robert Zemeckis. The only other big crossover that happened was the "All star cartoon heroes to the rescue special" which had Garfield, ALF, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Winnie the Pooh, and more help this kid get off drugs.

The only reason the voice actors and companies agreed to do this was because of it's obvious positive message influence to kids, and the fact that George Bush (senior) pretty paid for the special to be made. With people as anal and over protective as they are today, i doubt anyone will ever let another crossover cross our paths.
